Assessment & Treatment of Musculoskeletal Disorders Our therapists have more than 20 years of combined experience in the thorough assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions, be they sports related injuries, work/motor vehicle accidents, or the typical aches and pains of every day life. We believe in establishing a clear diagnosis as quickly as we can and educating our patients on the nature and prognosis of their problem; this will help you as a patient gain a clearer understanding of the issues you face, and importantly how you can assist your own recovery. We are trained in a variety of manual therapy techniques, with all of our staff focused on continuing education and the use of the latest evidence based practice principles. We will help you get through the acute phase of your injury, facilitate the recovery process and can offer you longer term solutions to assist with the management of chronic conditions.
Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Programs are funded by Medicare.
Perhaps little known is the fact that individuals can access private Physiotherapy services for chronic conditions (for example, low back pain) under Medicare. The ‘Enhanced Primary Care Program’ is funded by Medicare and allows for up to 5 sessions of treatment per calendar year across all Allied Health Providers. We are more than happy to participate in the EPC program. If you think this may help you, simply ask your GP regarding it and a Physiotherapy referral so we can assist with your problem. Please note, you cannot access the EPC sessions without a GP referral, and your doctor must ensure a multi-disciplinary care plan is in place for you.
